Very high specification unit with an Innovative & unique frequency and Tone Scan & trap function making it compatible with all available analogue 446 radios. This unit has the capability to scan, trap and save any analogue 446 radio operating under the 446 License Free regulations. ideal for users moving between different sites and for easily and quickly establishing communications with other 446 radio user groups. The Pro has many user selectable functions including Key Lock, Tone Selection, VOX on/off, Priority Scan and Scramble and can be upgraded by Mitex (for a small charge) to full power 449 at a later date making it ideal for 446 fleet upgrading.
The radio is ready to use straight from the box. There is a very wide range of accessories available for this unit, including a six way charger unit.

The General DMR Digital provides extremely robust, simple to use but powerful communication to business and consumers alike and is now widely used in applications such as motorsport, industry, schools, shops and warehouses.

    The Mitex General DMR Digital is Mitex first DMR tier II/Analogue switchable model designed with versatility and ease of use in mind. With a full 5-watt power output on UHF, the General DMR is a powerful, extremely durable and yet relatively compact radio that delivers clear and reliable communications in demanding conditions in both Digital or Analogue modes. The Mitex DMR is supplied pre-programmed with our normal 16 General channels in analogue and a further 16 channels in Digital DMR mode and is ready to use straight from the box, with no set up required and minimal user training. The General DMR talks to all channels on our normal General and General Xtreme units and Channels 13, 14 and 15 are common across all Mitex UHF hand portables including the General, GenX, Security, Site HD and PRO UHF and can also be used with the Mitex Mobi mobile radio in Analogue Mode & maximising usability across the Mitex range. The Mitex General DMR is also a perfect step up for the PMR446 and 449 Analogue user that has a need to move into the more secure Digital DMR over time. The General DMR will talk to the standard General and GeneralX on all channels straight from the box in analogue and is covered under the same licence so is ideal as a step up to a more secure digital unit to still use with existing Generals and GeneralXtremes. Existing Mitex Headsets and Antennas can also be used with the General DMR and a new Six Way Charger is available. Legal operation of these units requires a current Business Radio Light License, available from Ofcom at just £75 for 5 years; one license covers an unlimited number of handsets. The license application form is included in the box and simple to fill out.
