The MOTOTRBO R7Ex handheld radio is ATEX and IECEx certified for use in locations where flammable gases, vapours, mist and dust may be present. It provides safe, secure and reliable push-to-talk communications to workers in dangerous, loud and busy working environments. The device also provides GNSS location tracking, a built-in voice recording and playback function as well as lone worker and fall alert safety features.
On top of that, the Motorola R7Ex NKP is built with easy-to-use controls and easy-to-understand status indications for quick and intuitive in-field use. A range of ATEX-certified headsets is also available for use with the device.
Motorola radio’s R7Ex is IECEx IP66 and IP68 certified and can withstand full submergence in water, exposure to fine dust and even powerful water jets or disinfectant. It also operates in a wide range of temperatures.
The R7Ex is designed to deliver clear audio in all conditions. Gain control and received audio levelling features smooth over voice transmissions. Intelligent audio also automatically adjusts the radio output based on background noise levels to avoid blaring messages or missed calls.
