The Mitex Link is a powerful, durable and compact two-way radio for general radio communications in areas with busy radio traffic. The Link is built with a range of new, quieter radio channels, making it perfect for use in areas with existing radio traffic. As well as featuring new channels, the Link is also built with older, busier radio channels for great flexibility.
The Link is ready to use, straight out of the box. It is perfect for city radio communications, in retail facilities, at public events or in any location with busy existing radio traffic.
As a handheld radio, Mitex Link radios are solid and reliable units. Link radios are water, dust and vibration resistant to a IP54 standard, and they are also built with high-quality Mitex audio hardware. Messages are transmitted clearly and the device’s high-quality speaker ensures clear message receipt. Radios can also be used with existing Mitex headsets and antennas and a range of other Mitex radio accessories.
The Link is the most compact 5-watt Mitex radio model.
The Link comes pre-programmed to Mitex’s new, less busy Link channels 1 to 8. Link radios can also be used to talk to any normal Link unit on channels 1 to 15. They also have the advantage of being able to talk to Mitex General radios on channels 9 to 15. Channels 13, 14 and 15 are also common across all Mitex UHF radios, maximising usability across Mitex radios. Channel 16 offers a scan function.
Mitex Link radios should be operated with a Business Radio Light License in the UK. The license application form is included in the box and is simple to fill out.
