Kenwood NXR-5700E VHF Digital Repeater
The Kenwood NXR-5700E is a VHF analogue and digital radio repeater built for everything from basic functionality up to the most advanced digital trunking radio networks. Devices power the most advanced long-range radio networks with extensive data storage for complex operations, wideband coverage and 25/5/0.5 W RF output power (100% duty cycle).
In FM analogue mode, take advantage of the following features: 16 QT/DQTS built-in repeater control, hang timer/time out timer/CW ID, external FM controller interface, EIA voter tone generation, external LTR controller interface and external MPT1327 controller interface.
General digital features are NXDN digital air interface, AMBE+2TM VOCODER, 6.25 & 12.5 kHz bandwidth, built-in 0.5 ppm TCXO, UID & GID validation, over-the-air alias, SNMP protocol readiness and FER (frame error rate)/RSSI output.
Conventional digital mode supports mixed FM/digital operation, conventional IP networks and site roaming capability for conventional digital repeater functionality.
Digital trunking mode is highly advanced with powerful data storage powering the most advanced network management. Devices support everything from NXDN type-C trunking systems to complex NXDN Gen 2 trunking networks. Features include transmission trunked mode, message trunked mode, busy call queuing, call queue pre-emption, late entry (UID & GID), control/traffic channel switching and control channel rotation.
Hardware features include a USB 2.0 type-b interface, ethernet network interface, 6 programmable function keys, program/modem interface, remote termination interface, programmable AUX I/O’S, DTMF remote control, flash firmware upgrading, remote system firmware updates and a telephone interconnect option.
