Kenwood NXR-1800E2 UHF Repeater
The Kenwood NXR-1800E2 is a digital and analogue repeater for organisations operating long-range two-way radio communications. Public safety, transportation and utilities organisations and more can all make use of the Kenwood NXR-1800E2. It is also the perfect successor to existing DMR and NXDN repeaters, such as the TKR-D710/D810 and NXR-710/810, for upgrade purposes.
The Kenwood NXR-1800E2 provides the best long-range radio network repeater functionality in a compact device. Two NXR-1800E2 devices fit in a 1U height, 19-inch rack, and devices feature a large 17-inch OLED display that shows status and device information.
Functionality on the NXR-1800E2 long-range two-way radio network repeater includes 50 – 1 W RF output power, up to 32 channels, non-repeat simplex/semi-duplex mode for analogue and NXDN digital, a built-in IP network adapter, multicast routing and SNMP protocol for direct reporting to a generic system.
The NXR-1800E2 also supports G.711 audio codec (for test console and third-party applications), IP remote management, IPIF to external applications (for IP console and OTAP), a built-in SIP IF without external IP console or gateway (digital only), IP remote control interface (IPRCI), enhanced security and CW ID.
Other features include a thermal-controlled cooling fan, an external power supply, a USB-A connector ready for audio accessories, an external in/out pin from DB25, hot standby system redundancy and a hang timer.
