The Icom IC-M510 EVO VHF/DSC marine radio is the perfect Icom VHF marine radio for tech-savvy mariners who want advanced, future-proofed functionality. The device offers a huge range of advanced features all inside a sleekly designed and compact device.
With this radio, you can use Icom’s RS-M500 app (available on iOS and Android) to control the device from your smartphone via WLAN. Use up to three devices for wireless microphone, intercom or remote control use, alongside the supplied microphone or optional CommandMic. Building on this tech convenience, the IC-M510 EVO can also be used with the NMEA 2000 network to send GNSS (GPS) position, DSC call and radio channel data to other marine equipment, such as a multi-function display.
The IC-M510 EVO also features a loud 25 W two-way hailer/20 W RX hailer. With an optional SP-37 speaker horn, users can talk to the deck or shore from the radio’s microphone and hear replies via the speaker horn. The RX hailer function allows you to keep watch of the radio traffic on the deck or tower through the hailer speaker. You can also sound foghorn patterns from the hailer speaker. In addition, the built-in waterproof speaker enhances the received audio and provides powerful, clear audio.
The Icom IC-M510 EVO features a built-in Class D DSC and distress button for digitally transmitting distress information to the Coast Guard and/or other vessels.
Other functions in the impressive range provided by the IC-M510 EVO include noise cancelling audio technology, an integrated GNSS receiver, IP68 advanced waterproofing (1m depth of water for 60 minutes), voice scrambler with optional UT-112A and AquaQuake draining function and much more.
