Icom IC-FR5300/FR6300 VHF/UHF Digital Radio Repeater Series
The IC-FR5300/FR6300 VHF and UHF radio repeater series is a highly robust, powerful and functional radio repeater series from Icom. The device features 5 programmable buttons and 32 memory channels. It also has a 50 W output capacity at 50% duty cycle or 25 W output capacity at 100% duty cycle.
The device can receive both analogue and digital modes on a single channel and transmit either mode. It decodes multiple CTCSS and DTCS as well as digital RAN (Radio Access Number) codes on a per channel basis and downlinks the received signal with a specified tone or code. The IC-FR5300/FR6300 also has internal space for installing another RF unit, and the second RF unit can be installed and operated independently on the device.
The IC-FR5300/FR6300 repeater series can also be upgraded with the UC-FR5300 network/controller board and CF card software. A radio system can be expanded from a single site to a simulcast system or multi-site trunking* system as required.
The IC-FR5300/FR6300 is MIL-STD-810 C, D, E and F rated for resistance to wear and tear and operates in temperatures of –25 °C to +55 °C. It also features a D-SUB 25-pin connector for external remote-control devices and other accessories.
