Hytera E-pack200 DMR and Digital Wireless Ad Hoc Dual Channel Repeater (UHF or VHF)
The Hytera E-pack200 is a digital radio repeater that can also be used as a radio. It can be used to make DMR calls by itself, and it can also be used to quickly and automatically establish an independent wireless ad hoc network. It is a powerful device for radio communications and network management in emergency situations or at events requiring an extensive radio network.
After power-on, the E-pack200 automatically establishes itself as a node in an ad-hoc wireless network. It provides a fast and powerful networking solution, to extend radio coverage and improve communications. Working with other devices, in a chain, mesh or hybrid arrangement, the E-pack200 creates a dynamic, self-managed network.
Long-range networks can be established as well as underground networks or networks in other demanding locations, like high-rise buildings.
In addition to its powerful networking ability, the E-pack200 features advanced technology. Devices can be remotely monitored and programmed and they feature multiple security mechanisms, such as authentication, software and hardware encryption to protect data and privacy. If the PMR network is down, the E-pack200 will also repeat calls over the LTE network.
