The Entel DN495

The Entel DN495 is a 4G LTE PoC radio that provides traditional PTT (push-to-talk) functionality alongside national cellular network operation. Operators can use Entel’s multi-network EU roaming SIM on the fully managed E-PoC or P1 Private Servers. Otherwise, it is supplied ready to use, Wi-Fi only. The smartphone app, radio gateway, PC dispatcher and Android dispatcher options also offer further flexibility.

Push-to-talk over cellular radios remove the need for expensive radio licensing and prevent channel interference.

Alongside its connectivity features, the DN495 is built with a range of communication functions, such as individual calling, group calling and transmission interrupt.

The Entel DN495 is also a solidly built walkie-talkie. It is IP68 compliant and can withstand dust and submersion in 2m of water for up to 4 hours. It is also compliant to MILSTD construction 810C/D/E/F/G. Furthermore, it delivers clear audio quality with up to 3 watts of volume.

Entel DN495 4G LTE PoC Radio

The Entel DN495 radio combines traditional PTT functionality with modern cellular network connectivity. It is supplied with a dual-profile multi-network roaming SIM as standard (E-PoC version). Otherwise, it can be used with Entel’s multi-network roaming SIM (P1 version) or SIM-free.

Cellular network connectivity removes the need for costly radio licensing and prevents channel interference from other radio users.

Here are the leading operational features on the DN495: Individual calling, group calling, transmission interrupt, emergency alert button, lone-worker alarm, man-down alarm, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AES 256 bit encryption, caller ID, presence check, high contrast white on black OLED display, gold plated accessory connector, locking accessory connector, accessory audio tailoring, scan, all call and indoor location tracking.

The DN495 makes full duplex calls. It also has features for individual calling (with a ring and wait feature), group calling or transmission interruption (all calls are stopped for a priority transmission).

The DN495 is built to last, with IP68 rating for dust resistance and waterproofing. It can be submerged in up to 2m of water for 4 hours. It is also MILSTD 810C/D/E/F/G rated against shock, vibration and the corrosive effects of dust and moisture.

The DN495 also delivers great audio quality with digital audio and up to 3 watts of volume. It is also built with a lithium ion battery with a high capacity for extended talk time (up to 17 hours).
