The 3M Peltor Litecom Plus Headset is a robust hearing protector from Peltor that comes with a built-in analogue two way radio, a noise cancelling dynamic microphone, a rechargeable Li-ion battery and a level dependent feature for ambient listening.
The built-in analogue two way radio is available in PMR version with 16 channels and 121 sub-channels, facilitating communication in noisy surroundings.
In addition, the noise cancelling dynamic microphone has voice-operated transmission (VOX) for hands free use, while the external jack enables connection to a mobile device or another two way radio.
In demanding situations, sound levels can fluctuate frequently. When the noise quiets down, you can turn up the environmental listening function to enhance situational awareness or communicate with close by co-workers. The level dependent technology will kick in if the hazardous noise returns to help protect your hearing again.
