Licensed vs License-free

License-free radios are a more cost effective alternative to licensed radios. Although this is the case, many events & festivals use Licensed Radios, as these radios are more secure and robust. Licensing means all communication via radios is private and on an encrypted channel, meaning other radios outside of your organisation are unable to listen in or interfere with your devices.

Try before you buy

With our no obligation try before you buy scheme, you can test the radios on your site, to ensure coverage, and that they are exactly what you want before you decide to buy. We can program the radios and arrange for OFCOM licences where needed too, making it even easier for you to get going.

With two-way radios on site, you will find that contacting caretakers, reception, support staff, remote classrooms and playground supervisors is so much easier and ensures the safety of the students as staff don’t need to leave any children or situation unattended to pass messages around school.

A repeater is used to increase the distance of the radio signal range. Our repeaters come complete with suitable aerial.

  • Our repeaters can be mounted on tables & walls to increase coverage inside a building
  • They can be used inside vehicles for road events

  • One model can even be supplied with a carry bag, ideal for bike/fell races

  • review rating 5  I bought a new LTE Digital radio for work use, I contacted Digitall Comms as they are local to us and asked if they can assist me with programming it. (Wasnt sure how they would welcome this as not bought through them)... They were very happy to help and asked me to nip in with a radio and the new one so they can sort it. I called in and saw Mark who seemed very knowledgeable , he had not seen this latest model but reassured me he would sort it out for me. That he did. The friendly staff made me a brew whilst he took the radio into his workshop. within 10 mins I had a fully programmed radio all good to go and was charged very little for his time. We at Warley Road Primary school, Halifax will be sure to use Digitall Comms in the future for any other radio requirements or when we come to upgrade our existing radio. Thank you. Dan

Problem described and immediately solved by me being given an email address to send the enquiry to. Sorted. Well done Customer Services. Can't comment about anything else until I get the quote and, if accepted, use the service.
